Hampshire Hospitals Trust select Accord for Procurement Contracts and FM Equipment Management

Hampshire NHS Trust use Target’s software services for contract management systems to help manage procurement contracts and equipment maintenance management.
Hampshire Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is a large NHS Trust in the South of England serving a population of approximately 600,000 across Hampshire and parts of West Berkshire. With such demanding numbers the Trust were looking to better manage, share report on important contract data.
Target provided the Accord contract management system, to help manage both income and expenditure contracts alongside developing an FM equipment management functionality to aid the Trust’s equipment maintenance procedures and practices.
With specific policies and procedures around procurement and facilities maintenance, Target created Accord to meet the requirements of the Trust. The base system system was developed to have the additional equipment management functionality to work in conjunction with their maintenance contracts. As a result the Trust is able to see at a glance how much spend is being made in excess, which in turn allows them to see not only value for money but make an informed decision on additional costs.

Target’s contract management systems are proving to be more than a simple tool to hold contract data. The Accord software is seeing growth in both the private and public sector to replace tradition methods of Excel spreadsheets.
