Keen Programmer Finds Work Experience at Target

Barnsley software company Target, welcomed young school programmer Harry Savage into their office for work experience as he works alongside the company’s Software Development Department.
The Holy Trinity student is currently studying Computer Science at GSCE with aspirations of the top grade. The school’s IT talent has been working next to some of the best software developers in the country; who have worked with the likes of Coca-Cola Enterprises, Kier Group and NHS Trusts, to understand the industry and get valuable work experience in an IT office.
Target are keen to help and nurture local talent to provide a career path and build valuable experiences that will help those with aspirations in the IT industry.

Although I’m not sure on my future in IT being only fifthteen, my experience of the IT industry at Target was a positive one. Harry joins Target, specialists in providing business management systems globally since 2010 to companies such as Coca-Cola Enterprises, The British Library, and Pret A Manger.
