Transfusionguidelines.org Launch Target Look and Feel

Software company, Target have been closely working with Joint UKBTS Joint Advisory Committee (JPAC) to deliver a new fresh design for their best practice website.

First launched in 2002, the website is now being re-launched using the technology, consultancy, support and content management services of Target. The website is an important function for publishing various JPAC publications and providing a communication channel between service providers and users.

The Joint United Kingdom Blood Transfusion and Tissue Transplantation Services Advisory Committee (JPAC) own and maintain TransfusionGuidelines.org. The website has become an important function for publishing various JPAC publications and providing a communication channel between service providers and users. The site services around 10,000 users per month who request over half a million pages per year.

Caroline Smith, Joint UKBTS Professional Advisory Committee (JPAC) Manager says: “Target have delivered something new and fresh and continually and constantly develop and improve the system to match our changing needs.”

She continues: “The team at Target are building the system to be entirely capable so it is tailored to work within our business, which is constantly evolving.”

JPAC are using Target’s content management system, Sprite to improve their online communication globally. Target’s web development platform is enabling JPAC to easily edit content and populate the website for it to be used by clinicians, scientists and other healthcare professionals across the UK and abroad both from Blood Services and hospitals.
